Publish modes: drafts, approval and Autopilot

Video coming soon

Each site has a publish mode. It decides what happens to a finished page.

Drafts only is the default. A finished page can be sent to your WordPress as a draft and nothing is ever published by elev8tor.

Publish after approval holds every page in the Content Queue until someone with the approve switch approves it. The page is then published over your site’s own WordPress REST API, using the Application Password you connected in Settings > Sites. The internal links suggested for the page are applied to your existing pages at the same time (1 credit a pass).

Autopilot publishes on the schedule when the page scores 70 or better and passes the checks (no placeholders, no numbers without a source). A page under 70 waits in the queue with a note instead.

Publish after approval and Autopilot need a WordPress connection or an enabled webhook on the site. Change the mode on the Autopilot screen. Repairs never overwrite the live page: they are created as a draft copy with the original address in the excerpt, so you can review and move the changes.
