HELP DESK AND SUPPORT
Help desk: connect your site, find the answer, reach a person
Everything you need to get elev8tor working with your website is here: how to connect WordPress without installing anything, where your keys go, what we support on other platforms, the full help center, and how to reach the team when an article is not enough.
Support comes from the Vertical Web team in Houston that built elev8tor and uses it on client sites every day.
CONNECT WORDPRESS
An application password, six steps, no plugin
elev8tor writes to a WordPress site through the REST API that WordPress ships with, as a user you choose, using an application password you create and can revoke. No elev8tor code is installed on your site for drafting or publishing. The optional connector plugin is separate and only records leads and GA4 events; see lead tracking with GA4.
01
Create an application password
On your WordPress site go to Users > Profile, scroll to Application Passwords, type the name elev8tor and click Add. Copy the password it shows; WordPress will not show it again.
02
Paste it into elev8tor
In the app open Settings > Sites, choose the site, click Connect WordPress, enter your WordPress username and the password. If your admin lives at a custom path such as /siteadmin, that is fine; we only use the REST API.
03
Check the test result
We call your site’s REST API and report who we connected as and whether Rank Math or Yoast is installed. Rank Math fields are set on each draft; Yoast’s are shown for you to paste.
04
Pick the publish mode
On the same screen leave Drafts only, or choose Publish after approval or Autopilot when early access opens on your account. The setting is per site and you can change it any time.
05
Send your first draft
Run a brief, write the page, review the checks and click Send to WordPress. Open the draft link, read it, publish it yourself.
06
Add lead tracking if you want it
Download the connector from Settings > Sites, upload it under Plugins > Add New, activate it and paste the site token. Send a test lead to verify the site. Skip this step and everything else still works.
OTHER PLATFORMS
What we support today and what is next
The scanner, rank tracking, research, briefs and the writer work on any URL on any platform. Publishing is the only step that depends on the platform, and the API and webhooks cover the sites we cannot write to. The full table, with what to expect on each, is on SEO software integrations.

REACH A PERSON
When the article is not enough
Tell us the screen, the site and what you expected to happen, in the form below or through the contact page. Replies come by email from the people who build the product; there is no tier one script. A ticket screen inside the app, with attachments and status, is on the build list and will appear under your account menu when it ships.
If what you want is for someone to do the work, Vertical Web, the agency behind elev8tor, sells that too. Ask on the same form and we will tell you which fits. Plan questions are answered on the SEO software pricing guide; how the product differs from the others is on agentic SEO tools compared.

Goes straight to the team’s inbox with the page you were on. Replies by email, Monday through Friday, from Houston.
Keys and connections
Settings > API Keys and Settings > Sites. Every key has a where to get it article; every site shows its verification, connection state and publish mode.
Security
Application passwords and keys are stored encrypted and shown only as their last four characters. Revoke the application password and access ends. The scanner never runs on customer keys.
The agent and Autopilot
How the loop runs, what each credit buys, what the checks mean and how publish modes work, in the Content module of the help center.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Open Settings > Sites in the app, pick the site and click Connect WordPress. On your WordPress site go to Users > Profile > Application Passwords, add one named elev8tor, and paste the username and the generated password into elev8tor. We test it against your site’s REST API right away and show whether Rank Math or Yoast is installed. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again, and you can revoke it from your profile at any time.
No. Drafting and publishing use the REST API that ships with WordPress and an application password you control. elev8tor keeps its code on its own servers. The only optional plugin is the lead tracking connector, which records form fills and calls and never writes content.
Settings > API Keys. On Data Included plans the only key you add is your Google connection, which is a sign in, not a key. On BYO plans you paste your DataForSEO login, a Google OAuth client or service account, a Google Natural Language key and an Anthropic key, then press Test on each. Every key has a help article that walks through where to get it. Your own elev8tor API key, for the API and webhooks, is on the same screen on plans that include the API.
Only when you set the site’s publish mode to Autopilot in Settings > Sites, and only for drafts that score 70 or better and pass the checks. Drafts only is the default. Publish after approval holds every item in your queue until you clear it. Both publishing modes are early access.
Some hosts and security plugins block REST calls or application passwords. Allow the elev8tor user agent, confirm Application Passwords are enabled for the user, and check that the site uses HTTPS. If it still fails, send us the error from Settings > Sites and the host’s name and we will tell you the exact setting. If the site can never be reached, the tool still works: export the page, or use the API.
Use the contact page and tell us the screen you were on and the site. Replies come by email from the Vertical Web team that builds and uses elev8tor every day. A ticket screen inside the app is being built so you can attach a screenshot and track the answer.
Each help article has a video slot and most say Video coming soon. Beth Guide’s Internet Marketing Clinic recordings are being cut into short lessons for each module; the articles update as they land.

The free demo runs on your own site with 5 scans. Connect WordPress during the demo and you will see the draft land before you pay anything.
