Install the elev8tor lead connector (optional)

Video coming soon

The connector is a small, optional WordPress plugin for lead tracking. It records every lead with its source, sends GA4 events from the browser and the server, and proves you manage the site so it counts as verified. It never writes content; drafting and publishing use the WordPress REST API with an application password instead (see Send pages to WordPress as drafts). You can run elev8tor without the connector.

Step 1: download it

In the app open Settings, then Sites, choose the site and click Download connector. You get a zip file.

Step 2: install it

On your WordPress site open Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.

Step 3: paste the site token

Back in elev8tor, on the same Sites screen, click Generate site token and copy it. On your site open the connector’s settings page and paste the token. The token is what lets this site send leads to your account; rotate it from the same screen if it ever leaks.

Step 4: GA4 (optional)

Add your GA4 Measurement ID (starts with G-) and a Measurement Protocol API secret from the GA4 web stream. With Google connected, one click marks generate_lead, phone_click, email_click and form_submit as key events on the property.

Step 5: send a test lead

Click Send test lead in the connector settings. When it appears under Leads in elev8tor, the site is verified. Supported forms: Gravity Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Formidable, WooCommerce orders, plus phone and email taps.

What it does not do

It does not create, edit or publish pages, and it does not change your theme or settings. It keeps a local copy of leads for 30 days only and never sends names, emails or phone numbers to GA4.
